Chapter 14

It has been almost two months since Mina answered the phone call from Erica and since then she has kept out of her way. That is best because Mina wasn’t sure how she would react if she had to deal with her ass much longer. Those damn calls had almost cost her the love of her life. Enough of that, tonight Brock was taking her to a Charity ball and she would be dressed to a tee thanks to her man. Hmmm, I love the sound of that. My Man!

When he asked her about attending she was getting ready to tell him she had nothing to wear to something so formal, but he surprised her by having everything picked out for her, down to the unmentionables. The dress was red lace with a plunging neckline and back fitted to the tee. It was as if he had taken her perfect measurements and had it especially made for her. The only thing that could be worn underneath was the softest lace thongs she had every worn and the nylons that connected at the thigh. She smiled because she knew that meant she was in for one Hell of a night... The expensive black high heeled shoes were so detailed; they looked like they had just been ripped off of a model on the runway. She was almost nervous to put them on.

They attended a charity ball and she thought she would have a repeat of the feelings she had during their company gala, but she didn’t. He spent the night as close to her as possible. Even if he were away from her, he would always make eye contact with her and look at her like she was the only woman in the room. Not having to fight for attention was a welcomed change. She stood across the room from him looking at the man that has brought so much happiness into her life. His black suit was fitting that gorgeous body and the red tie, which was a perfect match for her dress, was the perfect touch.

She cannot forget how he walked up behind her and whispered,

“We can leave now if you like. That dress is killing me.”

“We have only been here about an hour and you have more mingling to do,” she said with a smile.

“I know, but the more I look at you the harder it is for me to focus on anything these people are talking about.” Brock said with a grunt as he lean back a little and looked at the curve of her ass in that dress. He must have lost his mind when he thought he could make it through the night with her in this dress.

“You picked it out,” Mina said with a smirk.

“I know I did and I could kick myself for not saving this vision of perfection for an intimate night alone.” He said as his finger slowly made its way from her ear down the middle of her exposed back.
